Classifications
• Active Member: An active member is a professional registered nurse committed to the advancement of public health nursing. Member privileges shall include all rights and benefits of the Association.
• Affiliate Member: An affiliate member is a nursing student or other allied health professional who is committed to the advancement of public health nursing. Member privileges shall include all rights and benefits of the Association, except the right to vote and to hold an office.
• Friends: Friends of the Association are individuals, businesses, and organization who are committed to the advancement of public health nursing. Member privileges shall include all rights and benefits of the Association, except the right to vote and to hold an office.
• Honorary: An individual professional nurse who has rendered outstanding service to public health nursing. Honorary Members shall have the rights and privileges of Association Membership, except the right to vote and to hold an office.
Dues
• Membership dues for each classification of Association members shall be determined by the Board of Directors.
• Dues are for the calendar year (Jan.1-Dec. 31) and are not prorated.
• Dues paid at the annual Fall meeting will carry over for the next full calendar year
