What is the Public Health Nurses Association of Colorado?
The Public Health Nurses Association of Colorado is the specialty organization for professional nurses who are committed to the advancement of public health nursing.
Our goals are:
• Advocate for public policies to promote healthy communities
• Provide educational opportunities
• Provide a forum for networking
• Promote empowerment of vulnerable populations
In order to fulfill our goals, we have active workgroups
We also have a Practice Council that provides a venue in which public health nursing practice-related issues can be fully vetted
